The long, sleek blade features a sharpened swedge that goes approximately half the distance up the blade from the point. The ladder pattern Damascus blade was forged to shape and is finished off with an elegant Spanish notch. The Damascus S-guard was forged to shape and is well sculpted. The fit between guard, ferrule, blade and handle is well executed. The red stag crown handle is formed from a single piece of stag and is very comfortable in the hand. Very good balance. Excellent fit and finish throughout.
